(Széchenyi-Bath not far from Budapest Ville, arranging entrance tickets to avoid queuing at the Spa / Gellért-Bath are the most popular spas).

Directions from the Airport

Budapest Liszt Ferenc International airport is 16 km away. We would be very happy to arrange a taxi pick-up for you (payment service/upon request).

If you want to take public transport, take bus number 200E from Terminal 1 or from Terminal 2. Stop at ‘Kobánya-Kispest’ and switch to metro number 3 in the direction of ‘Újpest-Központ’. Change line at ‘Deák Ferenc tér’. Take the Millennium underground (M1 line) in the direction of ‘Mexikói út’ and get off at ‘Hősök tere’ or  ‘Bajza  Utca‘, that are located 500 meters from Budapest Ville.

Directions from the Train Station

Keleti International Train Station is 1.5km away. We would be very happy to arrange a pick-up for you.

If you would rather take public transport, take the underground M2 (red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar (southern railway station). Get off at Deák tér (3rd stop), here change to the M1 (yellow line) and get off at ‘Hősök tere’ or  ‘Bajza  Utca‘, that are located 500 meters from Budapest Ville.

FAQ

Does Budapest Ville offer airport transfer/shuttle?

Upon request we can organize a cab for you, the driver will wait for you at the arrival terminal of the airport. (airport transfer costs 5.000 HUF) In case you need a cab in the city we are more than happy to arrange a cab as well.

 

How can I pay for the accommodation?

You can pay with credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) or in cash. We accept Hungarian Forint and Euro as well.

 

Is there a free parking?

There is a free public parking in Damjanich street. In case you do not find a parking space, there is a huge parking place close to Heroes Square (300 meter from Budapest Ville) where you can also park for free. Smaller streets in the area are in pay-zone 8.00am-6.00pm.

 

Can I leave my luggage in case I am leaving in the afternoon or later?

It is no problem to leave your luggage in the bed&breakfast, we will close them and store them until you come to pick them up.

 

Are there restaurants/shops nearby?

Within walking distance you will find authentic Hungarian restaurants, coffee places, pubs, pharmacy, bakery, pastry shop and plenty of supermarkets (like Spar, Tesco, Lidl).

 

Is public transportation nearby?

In front of our entrance, there is a bus station that can take you to the city center. 5 minutes walking, there are two underground stations (Heroes Square and Bajza utca).
